My most recent read has been The Prize Winner of Defiance. It was on a list published by Sharon Randall in The Decatur Daily as one of the best books. It was about a lady who raised her family using money she won in contests. During the 1950’s, there were contests offered by many companies that awarded great prizes to the winners. Her winnings seemed to coincide with a desperate need in her family. These winnings were most often answers to many prayers offered by her and her children. It was a great read!!
